In this Getting to Know, Your Local LEO episode, we speak with Officer Haley Mullen of the Laurel Park Police Department in Western North Carolina.  We learn about her transition from studying Cellular and Molecular Biology to a Law Enforcement Career, the heartbreaking personal tragedy that impacted her community policing, and how her experience and understanding of bones led to an incredibly unique and creative business named Belle Bones Co. 

Haley began her career with the Hendersonville Police Department and has developed a strong interest in leadership, training, and communication, especially when it comes to mentoring newer officers and building trust within the community. She’s a wife, dog mom, and enjoys balancing life between police work, creativity, and family.
